Periodic maintenance is a strategy that requires maintenance tasks to be performed at set time intervals while the vehicle is operational. These include activities undertaken at intervals of several years to preserve the structural integrity of the road, or to enable the road to carry increased axle loadings.
Type of periodic maintenance works:
1) Pavement (CIPR, Resurfacing, Mill &Pave)
2) Non - pavement (Slope repair, guardrail, road marking, drainage repair)
3) M & E works (traffic light, street light)
